Prices of old dwellings in Finland, 2022

According to Statistics Finland, prices of old dwellings in housing companies fell in general by 0.2% in the six biggest cities and by 0.4 % in Greater Helsinki in August. Outside major cities, prices went up by 1.5 % compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

In the whole country, prices fell by 1.4 % in August from July 2022 and rose by 0.4 % from the corresponding period in 2021.

Among large cities, prices rose most in Vantaa (2.4 %) and Espoo (1.9 %); whereas the fall in prices was biggest in Helsinki (-1.6 %) and Turku (-1.2 %) from one year ago.

In August, 9 % fewer transactions were made through real estate agents than one year ago.
