The application period for business development financing through Business Finland and ELY Center in disruptive circumstances of coronavirus crisis has ended on Monday, June 8.
According to Business Finland information, the companies submitted a total of 29 722 applications. At this moment the decisions have been made for 19 939 projects and has been granted EUR 608.3 million for development funding of 14 453 projects.
60% of applications concerned wider funding for development projects and 40% for smaller-scale pre-feasibility projects. To date, most funding has been allocated to commerce, industry, software and gaming sectors. The data changes as applications are processed.
Business Finland aim is to process the most of the applications for emergency funding by the end of June. Several hundred of companies are already in the final reporting phase of the project. Based on the company's final report Business Finland keeps track that the project has been implemented in accordance with the approved plan and financing conditions.
